This safari takes you to four of Tanzania's popular game areas - Lake Manyara National Park which is a bird lovers paradise, The Serengeti National Park - famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra, Ngorongoro Conservation Area - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Tarangire National Park, which is well known for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions.   • Day 1 | River Trees Country Inn
    Arrival, JRO - Mount Meru

    Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you’ll be met after passing through customs and driven to the Rivertrees Country Inn set in the serene foot hills of Mt. Meru. We highly recommend extending your stay by one extra night to help recover from jet lag and take advantage of some of the fun activities in the area such as canoeing on Lake Duluti or an easy mountain bike ride through the lush mountain scenery.

  • Day 2 | Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
    Lake Manyara National Park

    After breakfast, you will head out on your safari land cruisers and head off for Lake Manyara, arrival for a late lunch and check in at the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in late afternoon. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is an exceptionally luxurious start to any safari in Northern Tanzania, and the perfect place to recover from an overnight flight, or even to end a safari. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge blends perfectly with it’s surroundings and each room has spacious decks and verandahs, with massive windows, all of which open up into lush forest. You outdoor shower and enormous bath offer unrivalled luxury, before you have a delicious dinner in the open dining boma.   • Days 3 - 4 | Singita Sasakwa Lodge
    Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, you will check out and drive off north to the world renowned Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Singita Sasakwa Lodge - Built in the style of a stately Edwardian manor house and featuring a light and airy atmosphere, Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers panoramic views, a sense of immense freedom, and stillness. Striking the perfect balance between casual luxury and sophisticated elegance, it features a grand entrance, wraparound verandas, silver candelabras and coveted antiques, as well as bespoke décor elements such as local artefacts and tribal cushions.

  • Day 5 - 6 | The Manor Ngorongoro
    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    After breakfast depart with game drive en-route, drive through the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, stopping en route for a visit to the world-famous Olduvai Gorge Palaeolithic site and reputed ‘Cradle of Mankind’. Enjoy picnic lunch at the site and thereafter proceed leisurely to Ngorongoro to check in at the The Manor Ngorongoro - Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, The Manor is reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture. Every detail of The Manor has been designed with its guests’ comfort in mind. Each of the cottages has been carefully positioned to maximise the views of the adjacent verdant hills but at the same time to maintain the intimacy and privacy of this old-world Manor home.

  • Day 7 | Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp
    Tarangire National Park

    Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, head south east past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you’ll view the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road and into the park. Check in at the Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp - a luxury thatched camp In the heart of the Tarangire National Park with total privacy amongst giant acacia trees and looking out yonder the plat savannah. With twelve fully furnished, deluxe tents, each tent has its own en-suite facilities with a shower, hand basin, and washing facilities. Enjoy your freshly prepared meal with a glass of wine out in the wilderness surrounded by splendid landscapes and surreal sceneries. Spend your afternoons spotting wildlife from the sun deck before enjoying dinner under the African Sky. You can also look forward to night drives, game walks, and picnics in the bush.

  • Days 8
    End of Expedition, Transfer Arusha

    Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Maasai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha you will be provided lunch followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect international departure flight.
