On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our team, who will drive you to your lodge. The town has numerous first-class restaurants, bars and markets to browse, and is the ideal place to spend a few days before embarking on a safari. Leave Arusha after a buffet breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Here, you’ll take a short game drive through its lush groundwater forest where you might even see its famous tree-climbing lions. Transfer back to Klein’s Airstrip for your return flight to Manyara. On arrival A member of Our team will be waiting to drive you to Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp. A unique safari destination, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to more than 30 000 protected animals. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in existence. Nearly three million years old, it shelters one of the world's most beautiful wildlife havens. Black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lion stalk the grasslands and flamingo crowd the soda lakes. Linger for two nights at the Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp. Your stay is on a full board basis, including game drives on the Crater floor and park fees.
After breakfast partake in a guided game walk and explore the banks of the Grumeti River, an important crossing of the annual migration and home to more unusual species such as the black and white Colobus monkey. Lunch and a game drive en route to the airstrip for your onward flight to Arusha where Our Team will be waiting to transfer you back to Kilimanjaro airport for your return flight.
