Heading south from Arusha towards Tarangire during the early afternoon, you will pass through many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Arriving late afternoon into Tarangire National Park, you continue the journey to Oliver's Camp viewing game en route.

Oliver's Camp is situated in the exclusive and little-visited south-east region of the beautiful Tarangire National Park and offers an authentic African safari experience with the advantage of superior service and top quality guiding. With only ten beautifully appointed tents available, Oliver's delivers exclusivity in an area famous for its large numbers of elephants and big cats, while its wetland location produces excellent bird sightings.

After a leisurely breakfast, you drive to Lake Manyara where you will stop for a picnic lunch. You will then have a game drive and then continue to the lodge reaching by late afternoon. Situated in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater the area around Karatu is perfect for exploring two of Tanzania’s gems, the Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. You will check in at Gibbs Farm - An idyllic farmhouse located on the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Gibbs Farm is situated on a picturesque coffee estate just outside the town of Karatu and midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. The gracious and sprawling colonial homestead that is set amongst formal English-style gardens. While coffee is still grown, processed and roasted on the farm, a vast fruit and vegetable garden provides almost all of the fresh produce used in the wholesome, delicious meals enjoyed by guests.

Leave camp after breakfast for the drive to the Serengeti National Park, passing through rich farmland until reaching the lush montane forests of the Ngorogoro Conservation Area Crater Highlands. After ascending and descending the rift escarpment, stop first at Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most famous fossil and archaeological sites, dating back two million years and where many finds of early humans were discovered. Tour the Olduvai Museum before a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, continue game-viewing in the Serengeti. Undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Serengeti is home to the highest density of animals in the world as well as being unrivalled for its natural beauty, diversity and scientific value. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha arriving at approx. 12.15 hrs. Upon arrival you’ll be met and drop off to Arusha Town Centre to connect with your onward arrangements.
